Ivity Creations is a Veteran owned Lapidary service based out of Phoenix, Arizona. We specialize in the cutting and polishing of opal materials. Although we are comfortable with opals of any origin, our lapidary is particularly proficient in Australian Opals from Coober Pedy, Lightning Ridge, Andamooka and beyond. Outside of our service regarding opals, we also provide lapidary service in slicing, cabbing and polishing of approved client provided materials. Now, I am sure that many are asking themselves why the name "Ivity Creations"? As a company, we started as a handmade jewelry company, and thus "creations" was destined to be in our name! "Ivity" is the suffix of words that we believe hold immense meaning; creativity, productivity, connectivity, festivity, positivity, adaptivity, and so many more! We wanted to model our business ethos behind this concept, and so "Ivity" became our moniker in 2016. Over the years, Ivity Creations has shifted from handmade jewelry and into the world of lapidary work. As jewelers, we felt that there was a limitation to the common shapes and cuts available for most minerals and gemstones, which limited our freedom in being creative with our jewelry design. In learning how to produce our own gemstones in-house, we opened up an entirely new avenue to explore with our jewelry. Although our main focus is now lapidary work, we will also occasionally release some one of a kind wearable artwork.
